The ETRC was established in 1990. Our missions are to integrate both industries and the university to develop both industrial progress and environmental protection. The ETRC is well equipped and has a water quality analysis lab, a solid waste toxicity analysis lab, a soil contaminant analysis lab, an aseptic room, and a precision instrumental analysis lab. The ETRC is a research lab with accreditation of the Taiwan EPA. The ETRC mainly provides environmental analysis service, high-tech trace pollutants analysis, surface analysis, and fine structure characterization analysis. The high-resolution precision and automatic instruments such as ICP/AA, GC/MS/MS, GC/FID/TCD/FTP/ECD, FE-SEM/EDS, HR- TEM, FTIR, XPS, EA, UV-Vis, XRD, were invested to provide high quality services.

　　 ETRC is one of the few sampling analysis organizations, which received accreditation of Taiwan High Prosecutors Office, and is in charge of environmental crime sampling. We take part in studies on environmental protection and pollution control enthusiastically and assist the government and enterprises in providing analysis services and technique consultations of products purity, drinking water, wastewater, soil, groundwater, waste, electronic devices and materials, structure of nano-scaled sample, and super trace substances on surface analysis. The Ministry of Education honored us with a standard laboratory on safety and health management system in April, 2011.
